Makai Acai Bar was born from a personal passion inspired by island living.
While spending time in Hawaii, our founder discovered how acai bowls and superfoods were part of everyday life. They were not treated as a trend or a strict health choice, but as a refreshing and nourishing snack enjoyed after the beach, after a workout, or simply as a moment to slow down. Acai bowls in Hawaii are vibrant, satisfying, and naturally good for the body.
That experience became the inspiration to bring acai culture back to Bangkok.
Makai was created so people in Bangkok could enjoy quality acai bowls and superfoods in a way that feels effortless and enjoyable. At the core of our menu is premium organic acai imported directly from Brazil, where authentic acai originates. Carefully selected for its depth of flavor and naturally smooth texture, this Brazilian acai sets the foundation for everything we create.
The name "Makai" comes from the Hawaiian word meaning "toward the sea," a phrase often used to invite someone to relax and unwind. This idea shapes our brand philosophy.
